Activity Overview/Description

This three-day live meeting will feature dynamic and enriching sessions and panel discussion on topics that include the 340B Program, the role of the Federal Government in achieving health equity, the Black vote, and organizational collaborations to advance health equity.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for Physicians, Physician Assistants, Podiatrists, and Nurse Assistants.

Accreditation Statement: The National Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement

The National Medical Association designates this live in-person activity for a maximum of 16 PAMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the current National 340B Program Review the pros of the current National 340B Program.
  • Evaluate the role of the Federal government in achieving health equity.
  • Determine the role of nutrition in reducing chronic disease.
  • Review S. 2821/H.R. 1826 – Prostate-Specific Antigen Screening for High-Risk Insured Men Act.
  • Assess how the Black vote can help eliminate health disparities.
  • Examine why Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Matters.
